So we are in the car and Cora decided to draw a picture for my Grandma. Cora and my Grandma share a love of cardinals so she wanted to draw a picture of a male and female cardinal. So here is the conversation:
Cora: I need to see a picture of a cardinal
Me: Just draw a bird and color it red
After a quiet pause
Cora: Mom.....Do you have google on your phone?
Me (laughing): I am more of a Yahoo! girl....can we look it up on Yahoo! ?
Cora: No Mom! It has to be Google!
Seriously? My 8 yr old has a preference on which search engine she uses?
And that my friends.....is a sign of the times. But a great picture was drawn and a Great Grandma's day was made!
